300 Ton Lift in Scottsdale

Back in December, Smiley Crane performed a lift in a super tight space over in Scottsdale. We lifted a stone table, with a reach of over 250 feet over the hedge, meaning Jan, the operator, would be lifting the table blind. With the help of the guys on the ground using radio, the table was successfully able to be dropped into place with precise direction. The crane was set up on a driveway that took up the entire road. Trucks carrying all the crane equipment and counterweights were tightly set up on one side of the crane, and the other side had the supplies to build the table pieces. As you see in the video, the crane boom was almost fully extended with the jib attached to the end.
