Smiley’s Took Over Scottsdale Airport
This week Smiley Crane had two jobs up over at Scottsdale Airport, both involving the massive luxury hangars that house millions of dollars worth of toys. The first job was lifting 11 units onto the roof of a hangar that was going up for sale. This renovation was completed in just a few hours and was done using the 80 ton. The next job was lifting a 32,000 lb door frame that was being constructed for a brand new hangar at SDL. The hangar was lifted in two pieces and hinged at the middle to be lifted and constructed into one massive frame. Jan was the operator on both the 170 and the 80 ton cranes on these jobs.
